By CENTCOM Public AffairsCENTCOM Commander discusses regional security issues General James N. Mattis was the guest speaker for the George Shultz Lecture Series in San Francisco Aug. 25. The commander of U.S. Central Command provided attendees with an overview of regional security issues in his area of responsibility and then answered questions. The event was hosted by the Marines Memorial Club and was attended by former and namesake of the event Secretary of State George P. Shultz and former Secretary of Defense William J. Perry.
