| Al Raya Newspaper: Armed forces ends the preparation phase for Eagle Resolve Exercise |
By U.S. Central CommandRaya news paper reports in its Sunday edition that the Qatari armed forces ended the preparation stage for Eagle Resolve Exercise 2009 and began the first phase of the exercise which is called “command post exercise” in participation of nations of GCC, the United States and some brotherly and friendly countries. The paper added that the Eagle Resolve is an exercise for crisis management and counter-terrorism and aims to strengthen cooperation between the State of Qatar and the participating States.
