Foreign soldiers jump with U.S. paratroopers in Bright Star exercise

FAYETTEVILLE, NC (Oct. 6, 2009) — The Fayetteville Observer reports that soldiers from Egypt, Germany, Kuwait and Pakistan made parchute jumps with members of the Army's 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg during the past week.

The 2nd Brigade of the 82nd Airborne Division is the host for the Fort Bragg portion of the exercise from Sept. 28 to Oct. 11. About 180 Fort Bragg soldiers will go to Egypt after the Fort Bragg exercise. Read more here.
