MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – U.S. Central Command Chief of Staff, Maj. Gen. Karl R. Horst and USCENTCOM Senior Enlisted Leader, Command Sgt. Maj. Frank Grippe, hosted a ceremony to congratulate the winners of the USCENTCOM Joint Officer, Senior Non-Commissioned Officer and Junior NCO of the Quarter Boards for the first quarter of 2013. The USCENTCOM Categories I and II Civilians of the Quarter were also recognized.

Uniformed members were rated by a panel of senior enlisted service members and officers on categories such as physical fitness, military knowledge and bearing. Civilians are recommended by their senior leaders based on professionalism, proficiency and contributions to the USCENTCOM mission. All winners are eligible to compete for annual honors later this year.

Civilian Category II – Mr. Lawrence M. Seavor
