TF 51/5 Directorate of Logistics is recognized as Logistics Unit of the Year (Small Unit)

The U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) G-4 and the Naval Amphibious Force, Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade (TF 51/5) Logistics Directorate were selected as the Marine Corps Logistics Excellence Organization/Team of the Year (small unit). The award recognizes the outstanding achievements of the Corps’ top performing Marines, Civilians, contractors and operational logistics units in the Installations and Logistics community in a small unit. Throughout this year, MARCENT G4 and TF 51/5 Logistics Directorate distinguished themselves through the outstanding performance of logistics support in their contribution to Naval and Joint missions in the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) theater of operations from October 2020 through September 2021.

Gulf Nations and U.S. Military launch Eagle Resolve to defend the skies

Gulf Nation representatives from Kuwait, Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, along with their U.S. counterparts are participating in exercise EAGLE RESOLVE, a computer based, scenario driven command post exercise (CPX) at Fort Carson, Colorado, March 6-17. The exercise is designed to enhance integration among the U.S. and our Regional Partners in the area of air and missile defense.

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Bahrain Supports International Maritime Exercise 2022

Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Bahrain, and its detachments in Oman and United Arab Emirates (UAE), provided contracting and logistics support to U.S., allied and partner maritime forces during U.S. Naval Forces Central Command’s (USNAVCENT) International Maritime Exercise 2022 (IMX22) from January 31 – February 17.
