Coalition ship aids Iranian mariners

MANAMA, Bahrain (May 18, 2010) — The San Antonio class amphibious transport dock ship, USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) assisted six stranded Iranian mariners early Friday morning May 14th while conducting routine Maritime Security Operations (MSO) in the Arabian Gulf. U.S. delivers helicopters to Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (May 18, 2010) – The United States government delivered two Bell 412 EP helicopters to the Government of Pakistan today to assist the Pakistan military in its counterinsurgency efforts.
