Obama, Pentagon Leaders Honor 9/11 Victims at Remembrance Ceremony

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama, Defense Secretary Ash Carter and Marine Corps Gen. Joe Dunford, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, paid tribute to the nearly 3,000 victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States during a remembrance ceremony at the Pentagon Memorial.

President Proclaims 9/11 National Days of Prayer, Remembrance

WASHINGTON — In the 15 years since the 9/11 attacks, “Americans have grieved together, held each other close, and looked out for one another,” President Barack Obama said in a proclamation declaring Sept. 9-11, 2016, as National Days of Prayer and Remembrance.
