Anzac Day 2018
Wreaths and poppies lie below an Anzac Day memorial following a dawn service on the beach at MacDill Air Force Base, April 25. Personnel and family members from U.S. Central Command, U.S. Special Operations Command, and MacDill AFB attended the commemoration service that marks the anniversary of the military campaign on the Gallipoli Peninsula fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during World War I. Anzac Day also commemorates the lives lost by Australians and New Zealanders during World War II and subsequent military and peacekeeping operations. (Photo by Tom Gagnier)
